YRA racing is comprised of four charter associations, each representing a specific type of racing or types of boats:
  • HDA (Handicap Divisions Association): Bay racing using the PHRF handicapping system.
  • ODCA (One Design Class Association): Bay racing for one design fleets
  • OYRA (Offshore Yacht Racing Association): Ocean racing using PHRF, IMS, or MORA ratings. Includes a short-handed sailing division, one-design fleets and a cruising division.
  • WBRA (Wooden Boat Racing Association): Bay racing for the following wooden one design fleets: Bird, Folkboat, IOD and Knarr.

  • Latest YRA Race Results
    The YRA Spring 3, the Summer Sailstice Race - June 20, 2009 Results from Race #1 are available HERE and results from the One-Design fleets 2nd race are HERE. Racers in the HDA G, D & K fleets were competing for the OCSC Summer Sailstice Perpetual Trophy. This year's winner is the Antrim 27 Head Rush, skippered by Charlie Watt. Congratulations to Charlie and the Crew of Head Rush! The Trophy will be awarded at the YRA Year-End Trophy party in November.

    The 2009 Master Calendar is available HERE. Still need to renew or sign-up? Click here to access our ELECTRONIC SIGN-UP Site You will need to create an account in order to sign-up electronically and if you have made changes to your boats configuration you will still need to either mail, email or fax a copy of your renewal form into the YRA, with the changes indicated, although you can still use our automated process to pay for your renewal.
